OJSC Mostotrest is the leading diversified transport infrastructure construction company and the largest bridge-building company in the Russian Federation by revenue for works conducted in-house, in each case according to independent industry consultant EMBS Group.

The company specialises in the construction and overhaul of road, rail and city bridges and highways, as well as other engineering constructions.

The Company was founded in 1930 under the name of the All-Soviet Trust for the construction of extra large bridges «Mostotrest». To date the company has completed over 7,500 kilometres of bridges, foot bridges, tunnels and complex transport interchanges. Some of the more recent landmark projects include Zhivopisny bridge over the Moscow River in Serebrianyi Bor, a cable-stayed bridge over the Oka river near Murom, and a bridge over the Angara river in Irkutsk, among others.

Mostotrest is currently involved in some of Russia’s largest infrastructure development projects. As part of the preparations for the 2014 Winter Olympics in Sochi, the Company’s specialists are working on the Adler Ring road, Stadium and Golubye Dali transport intersections, Kurortny avenue alternate road. Meanwhile Mostotrest also continues its work on a section of the Fourth Transport Ring Road in Moscow, the M4 Don, M9 Baltiya, M11 Narva highways segments as well as segments of a new Moscow-St.Petersburg Tollway.

Following the recent acquisitions of controlling equity interests in Engtransstroy Corporation LLC and Transstroymekhanisatsiya LLC and a non-controlling equity interest in OJSC Mostostroy-11, the Company has further diversified its product expertise strengthening its positions in related segments (construction of highways, railways, airports and ports) and expanded its presence in major Russian regions such as the Urals, the Siberian and the Far Eastern Federal Districts.

The effective implementation of its business strategy, extensive track record and strong reputation as a reliable and experienced contractor in the infrastructure construction sector has allowed the Company to increase the amount of completed work and strengthen its position as a general contractor.

Mostotrest employs over 21,000 personnel and operates through fourteen branches and six subsidiaries (including the recently acquired entities).

Mostotrest is a Member of the International Association for Bridge and Structural Engineering — IABSE, the European Federation of Foundation Contractors — EFFC and the Association of Russian bridge constructors — AMOST.
